I am not saying stuff just to say stuff. Your voice and lyrics are top-notch and I enjoy this song. If I had one criticism, it would be that (and I don't know if it's your microphone itself, or the distance from it you're standing) but it sounds like you're about 8 feet away from the mic. Probably to avoid distortion from up-close, high volume belting-out of your lyrics. And I don't know how you'd fix that, but I know somebody on this god-forsaken website does, and hopefully you get that issue taken care of because you have a talent that deserves to be heard.

Amen. I agree with you 100%. It speaks to your audio production prowess that you were able to hear I was far from the mic on this one. I was. The mic is adequate, but not professional. It likes to peak [or redline] a lot, and I don't know how to avoid that besides just getting further from the mic. So that's what I do.

But anyways... Man. It makes my heart sing to hear that you like what I create. I write, and I write, and I write. And I have no confirmation when I write that anything I write is coming out well. So this? This comment made my whole freakin’ day. Believe it.

Maybe it’s just a sign of how bad my drinking was back then, but I’ve actually known since I was about 12 that you can solve redlining mics by just backing down the input level, upping the compression (if it’s not already maxed) and then tweaking the EQ’s and volumes.

Quitting alcohol, meditating and getting outside more has done wonders for my cognitive capabilities. 10/10 would recommend.

Cool beat. Kinda repetitive, but works for certain things, of which I will hopefully be demonstrating to yo asses soon.
